Behind The Scenes : Fall Photo Shoot 2015
This August Constance McCardle knew it was time to produce a photo shoot to photograph some of her recent one-of-a-kind fashion designs. Jean Sweet, photographer from Chicago, traveled to Ossining, NY to Constance’s home and studio to shoot the collection pieces on location. Constance’s beautiful gardens provided a perfect background and her home interior provided a convenient backdrop for studio shots. From one two day shoot production, Constance was able to get images with an eclectic mix of mood and themes.
Sandy Hapoienu, fashion stylist, collaborated with Jean and Constance to provide on set styling with her keen eye for fashion and accessories. For the interior scenes, the team developed backgrounds for each shot, to add variety to the photo collection. (Read more about Sandy Hapoienu)

In the early morning hours and the late afternoon and evening twilight, the photo team captured some stunning shots around Constance McCardle’s home. The beautiful gardens around the home are reminiscent of a vintage-style gardens with the hint of the countrysides of England or France. At the side of the home is a beautiful stone arch. On the evening of the first day of the two day shoot, the team worked under the gun to capture a shot before the night sky turned totally dark. With the help of a battery strobe, Jean captured a shot under the arch. Constance and Sandy prepared the set with a hand-woven rug running down the steps to add a touch of fantasy.
